A monthly event hosted by Bush & Us, the Nature Journaling Groups provide a free space for young people, their families, and friends to come together for a scenic walk, followed by a creative session. Art materials are provided to participants, though bringing your own is also welcome.
The Nature Journaling Group was created to offer a shared space for reconnecting with the environment and engaging with others in a creative and fun way. In our fast-paced modern world, it can be challenging to find time to unwind and appreciate the healing energy of nature. However, when we do, we are reminded of how restorative and calming it can be for our mental and physical health.
We believe in the power of nature to inspire creativity and foster community connections. Our monthly Nature Journaling Groups offer a unique opportunity for young people, their families, and friends to come together, explore the beauty of the Bega Valley, and engage in creative expression.
Each session begins with a scenic walk, allowing participants to immerse themselves in the natural surroundings. Following the walk, we gather for a creative session where art materials are provided, though you're welcome to bring your own. Whether you're an experienced artist or just starting, these sessions are designed for everyone to enjoy and benefit from the calming influence of nature.
Join us at our next Nature Journaling Group and experience the joy of connecting with nature and community. Let's create, unwind, and find inspiration together.
